As part of the product growth, we built Klump Commerce - a marketplace and online storefront for merchants to reach their customers quickly and efficiently.

Position Overview:

Are you passionate about driving growth in a fast-growing FinTech? Do you have experience delivering digital products that delight merchants and their consumers and add business value? If you have a track record of driving product success, simplifying the complex world of merchant acquisition, onboarding, activation, success, and operating with a focus on amazing customer experience, then it’s time to join Klump’s Commerce organization as Head of Commerce and Marketplace. This role reports to the Chief Product Officer.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Platform Management: Oversee Klump’s Marketplace (Klump Commerce) for ample functionality, user experience, and profitability, and drive both its one-time and BNPL purchases.
  • Merchant Management: Lead a team of account managers to attract, onboard, and foster strong relationships with merchants, ensuring satisfaction and driving growth in Klump's ecosystem. This is the cornerstone of this role.
  • Marketing and Customer Growth: Supervise social media management and internal digital marketing efforts, enhancing brand visibility and engagement to support overall growth objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of account managers, product managers, creative designers, and marketers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product designers, and operations, to ensure alignment and integration across all business aspects.

Role Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree is required, and an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in complex consumer product organizations.
  • Proven digital commerce platform management track record, preferably in technology and e-commerce.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, execution, and analytical skills.
  • Deep understanding of digital commerce trends and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
