flagship Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) product in 2022 and have seen significant growth. As part of
the product growth, we built a Klump Commerce - a marketplace and online storefront for merchants to reach their customers quickly and efficiently.
Position Overview:
As an Account Manager at Klump, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our organisation. You will be responsible for building
and maintaining strong relationships with merchants, ensuring a seamless onboarding process, resolving disputes effectively,
and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional value to our merchant partners.
Role Responsibilities:
- Merchant Acquisition and Onboarding:
- Identify and recruit potential merchant partners within the Nigerian market.
- Conduct thorough merchant evaluations to assess suitability for the BNPL platform.
- Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring merchants have the necessary tools and training to
successfully integrate BNPL into their business.
- Merchant Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with merchants, acting as their primary point of contact.
- Proactively address merchant needs and concerns, providing timely support and solutions.
- Foster a collaborative environment and build trust with merchants.
- Dispute Resolution:
- Effectively manage and resolve disputes between merchants and customers, ensuring a fair and equitable resolution for all parties.
- Develop and implement processes to minimize disputes and improve customer satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product, and operations,
to ensure seamless merchant experience and platform optimization
- Performance Analysis:
- Track merchant performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide recommendations to merchants on optimizing their BNPL usage and maximizing revenue.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in account management, sales, or customer success within the fintech or e-commerce industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM and other relevant software tools.
